Happenings is a service that incorporates social and multimedia tools that many performing arts organizations traditionally do not fully utilize to relate performances to new audiences. Designed for the 20-something student Millennial generation demographic, Happenings utilizes technological mechanisms that tech-engaged Millennials often use in order to learn of upcoming events. The Happenings mobile application enhances the experience of going to see the performing arts by providing exclusive performance commentary, browse relatable peer reviews, or have an opportunity to converse with both performers and peers while attending a performance.
